Certain things need to go.

One day, you’ll realize that there’s no sense in chasing footsteps walking away from you, even holding to hands that don’t want to hold you. Let them go. You deserve genuine love and some genuine people, not those who only take you for granted. It may be hard but accept detachments. What stays is what you should cherish. Burn the bridges and keep your treasures. Someday you will know why some people need to go and why they don’t have to come back.
